China’s announcement on Wednesday that Walt Disney could go ahead with its long-planned theme park in Shanghai raised a few eyebrows in Hong Kong. That’s because Disney’s first foray into the China market, via Hong Kong in 2005, has been tepid at best — and embarrassing at worst.

Chinese students visit San Bernardino

More than 350 middle and high school students from throughout China participated in a cultural immersion program offered by Cal State San Bernardinos College of Extended Learning (CEL). The students, ages 1218, arrived throughout the summer in eight different groups from Shanghai, Beijing, Jiangsu and Yunnan.
