HK Disneyland shrinks losses (Straits Times)

HONG KONG – HONG Kong Disneyland saw its annual losses fall to HK$1.32 billion (S$236 million) from HK$1.57 billion dollars owing to cost cuts at the struggling venue, it said on Tuesday. Sales in the fiscal year ended Oct 3 slid one per cent to HK$2.54 billion while the park’s hotel occupancy rate fell to 70 per cent from 78 per cent in fiscal 2008, Disney said.
